First, the updates you are referring to have been already known for people.

Second, you can rank high even if your website is new and does not have 100 pages and lots of back links.
What you have to do, though, is choose a low-competitive keyword and analyse the content in the top.
I launched a brand new website in august 2021 and a few of my pages already rank on the 2-3 pages of Google because of the optimisation.
