As I've mentioned in the article, I aim to publish my works in 4 publications:

1) BetterMarketing - once you are in, informs if the article is accepted or rejected within day, same for publication. The longest I've had to wait is 3 days (no longer)

2) Startup accepts and publishes within 2 days, if not - consider rejected.

3) Illumination - publishes within a few hours and same for 2MinutesMedness.

I try to keep publishing my articles in the publications, where I am already the writer. Meanwhile, I produce a few other pieces for new publications. Those could stay pending for several weeks until the publication checks them.

This way you will be able to keep publishing stuff and get into the new publications.
