At my company, we set quarterly goals. Then, I create a roadmap with the action steps on how to achieve those goals. The roadmap tells me exactly what I should do every week to achieve those goals. I review the roadmap weekly and monthly to make sure I stick to my deadlines.
I am a firm believer that if something is not planned, it’s not done. Therefore, reviewing monthly goals helps to be on track with all duties and align your actions with the high-level quarterly goals.
