I use Medium to share my success/failure and educational stories mentioning the tools I use and products I sell.

Medium helps me sell my ebook, even though the CR is roughly 2%. I've also made some affiliate sales through Medium.

Now, I am looking for proven-to-work content types to publish on my website. I write product reviews, how-to, expert content. Perhaps, I just have to publish more to increase affiliate income. :)
